Zach's Story

Zach was an avid snowmobiler, riding and racing from the early age of 4 years old. Our area had gotten 7+ inches of heavy, wet snow overnight and it was still coming down. On the rare occasions that we got enough snow to ride, Zach loved going out to ride early, before the plows cleared the roads, just to enjoy a ride on the fresh fallen snow. Zach left that morning to take a ride and never came home. He had a freak snowmobile accident that instantly took his life here on earth. In a moment, a blink of an eye, every parent’s worst fear became our new reality. Our world came crashing down around us. We miss Zach terribly all day, every day. While we are comforted to know that his soul lives on with Jesus and that we will one day be reunited, it doesn’t take away the pain of losing him and the precious memories we had yet to make.

Zach's Story Cont.

Our son Zach was deeply rooted in our amazing community. Over the years he played soccer and baseball, swam competitively, coached swimming and in later years, became an active member of a car and truck group. He also loved boating, racing snowmobiles, and going to car and truck fund-raising benefit shows. And he loved entering his Patriotic Silverado in shows!  Wherever he was, Zach would talk to everyone and was a friend to many!  Always with a big smile on his face and his hearty laugh, he was ready and willing to help anyone that he could in whatever way he could! We want to continue the tradition of Zach’s acts of kindness through the Zach Peiffer’s Legacy of Kindness Foundation.  We hope you’ll join us!
